Papa John’s Gluten-Free Crust is made with Ancient Grains, specifically sorghum, teff, amaranth and quinoa, and is currently being tested in Papa John’s locations across Los Angeles, Phoenix, St. Louis, Houston and Nashville.

The new, never frozen Gluten-Free Crust made with Ancient Grains, showcases the brand’s unwavering commitment to have the highest quality ingredients among national pizza brands. The Papa John’s R&D team spent more than a year to develop the product with the goal of offering pizza fans a better tasting Gluten-Free pizza crust.

From an operations standpoint, Papa John’s employs procedures to prevent contact with gluten, and while the Ancient Grains gluten-free crust is prepared in a separate, gluten-free facility before being shipped to stores, it is possible that a pizza with gluten-free crust could be exposed to gluten during the in-store, pizza-making process. Therefore, the brand does not recommend its Gluten-Free Crust made with Ancient Grains for customers with Celiac Disease or serious gluten intolerances.

The organics pilot program is currently being tested in Papa John’s locations across Lexington, KY and features four freshly-sliced, organic toppings: Roma tomatoes, green peppers, yellow onions, and mushrooms.

Papa John’s will work in partnership with Green BEAN Delivery to source the fresh, organic produce from Certified Organic family farms across the country including locations in Arizona, Florida, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Oregon, California and Indiana.

Papa John’s is reinforcing its dedication to both ingredient quality and customer choice—actively listening to its customers and finding new ways to give them what they want from their favorite pizza maker. PAPA JOHN’S PRESENTS CHECK TO THE JANIS FOLIGNO FOUNDATION

At the last home game of the regular season, Papa John’s of Central Ohio had a check ready to present to the Janis Foligno Foundation in the amount of $17,250. However just before the presentation, Nick Foligno scored his 26th goal, adding to the total donation!

This donation is a combination of Nick’s 26 goals and a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the Defender pizza during the hockey season. All donations will be given to the Janis Foligno Foundation, an organization that supports local charities and research projects committed to finding a cure for cancer, and which provide care and treatment to those battling the disease.

And as the Jackets head into the postseason Papa John’s is doubling down to fight cancer! For each goal Nick scores during the postseason, we will donate $1,000 to the Janis Foligno Foundation!
